This started out as an exercise in drawing faces that don't look exactly alike. That's a problem I run into a whole lot. I sketched it out in pencil and then used a staedtler watercolor brush marker to finish it. I am absolutely in love with this marker and can't wait until I can afford to buy more colors.

Mr. Ortiz

Mr. Ortiz broke his nose when he drank too much and got punched in the face for calling Mrs. Gulia's cat a hussie. He has since made peace with Mrs. Gulia, but her cat remains indifferent.

This is my third completed embroidery project. I used cotton embroidery floss and repurposed denim from some cut-offs I made. The frame came from a friend that no longer wanted it. It had a super awful finish on it so I spray painted it white. I'm super pumped about the way it came out.

These are my first attempts at watercoloring. I thought it was finally time to use the paints my mum bought me for my birthday six years ago. I wasn't really sure what i was doing, but it was a lot of fun so i'm going to keep it up. Hopefully the library will have some good books on watercoloring.

new prints

Wipe your feet.

- What are you supposed to be?
- Self-confidence.

I would like to invest in a scanner and maybe some steadier hands.
